Motion:
“That ICPA Qld lobbies the Minister for Education and The Arts, the Director-General of Education and governing bodies to ensure that Queensland boarding schools have a benchmark that is relevant for all school boarding facilities in Queensland, and which can be met or surpassed by individual schools to suit their community.”
Explanation:
Having a state-specific standard that is developed by our state educational leaders ensures that Qld students’ interests are the priority and that expectations are developed specific to our Queensland students. This also allows Queensland schools to have more direct input into the process and development.
